Figure Skating Coach -
Kendall Ice Arena is looking for an experienced figure skating coach to supplement our growing Learn to Skate Program. You should have excellent communication skills and be experienced with Coaching USFS Programs from beginners to advanced USFS competitive skating. This includes group class instruction, Moves In The Field, and Freeskating instruction. PSA and USFS Membership is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and current on annual USFS background checks and PSA continuing education requirements (CER). Experienced high test level coaches who are rated/ranked by PSA will have the top consideration, but not required. Interested parties must be U.S. citizens or hold a U.S. Permission to work card (Green Card). Please, full time only applicants. High level coaches (with a following) who are considering relocation will have top priority for consideration.
Kendall Ice Arena is located in "The Hammocks," a beautiful upscale community located in the West Kendall area of Miami. Kendall is in easy driving distance to downtown Miami, Miami Beach the Florida Keys and great cultural attractions. Figure Skating Guest Coaches
Summertime guest coaches (with a following) are welcome to apply for permission to teach at Kendall Ice Arena. Coaches must be pre approved and certain restrictions apply. Interested coaches should contact Skating Program Director, Kent Johnson.
