Cole Klubek, Hockey Program Director

Kendall Ice Arena is proud to announce Cole Klubek as the new Hockey Director for Season 2021-22!


Cole grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi, and Hamburg, New York. With inline and ice hockey, Cole has been the head coach from U14s to a professional women's ice hockey team in Germany. Last season, he was the head coach for the Laramie Outlaws 14U in Wyoming. He's also a 10-year Air Force Veteran, a former college football player, an HBCU graduate, and published author.  Cole brings a wealth of experience with youth hockey and we welcome his organizational skills!





John Arceo - Assistant Hockey Director, U-12 & U-8 and Learn to Play
Johnnie hails from Hayward, California, and started playing in 1976. He started coaching in '87 for the Berkley Bears Hockey Club. He has been a hockey instructor for 15 years. In 2006, he was the assisting coach to the Oakland Seals Women's Hockey Club. He started with the Toros in 2011, where he has been coaching the U8 and the U10.

Alan DeVries

18 U

Coach DeVries will be leading the 18U Miami Toros through the 2021-2022 season. He has his USA Hockey certification completed up to level four and is eligible to coach every age group under USA Hockey guidelines. You can't miss him in the rink, just look for the Michigan Wolverines hat. The Miami Toros are excited to have Coach DeVries in our organization!


Dr. Daniel Ramirez - Goalie Coach
Daniel is a Miami native who has been involved in athletics and fitness his whole life. He started playing baseball at three years of age and followed with soccer, basketball, football, roller hockey, and finally found his passion for ice hockey. Daniel pursued his passion and went from Miami to Portland, ME (Portland Jr. Pirates
); Buffalo, NY (Wheatfield Jr. Blades); and Annville, PA (Lebanon Valley College) where he ultimately finished his career playing NCAA ice hockey. 
Daniel maintains his passion for hockey and sports but has shifted his focus to coaching young athletes. Daniel currently works at Miami Children's Hospital (West Kendall) as a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist and has completed additional education in order to become a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist in order to provide the highest therapy and training to his patients and clients. Coupled with his high level of academic knowledge is his experience working with kids for over 10 years.
