Kendall Ice Arena is the only ice arena in Miami/Dade County. Our Skating Academy is taught by experts and we utilize the US Figure Skating Basic Skills Program. The Basic Skills program will help you learn all the fundamentals of figure skating — it's simply the best way to take to the ice. The Basic Skills program is designed by U.S. Figure Skating to be the best beginning ice skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding.

The curriculum is designed to keep skaters enthusiastic about learning from the time they begin lessons until the time they reach their goals. Whether your goal is to achieve Olympic fame or simply enjoy the recreational benefits of skating, Basic Skills is for you! The entire Basic Skills program has special classes for many facets of skating including free skate, pairs, synchronized skating, choreography (Artistry in Motion) and hockey.

If you would like to have lots of fun and make new friends at the same time, don't delay!  You can start classes at any time.  This offer includes three (3) thirty minute classes with practice on the public session that follows.  Skates can be rented for an additional $3.00.  Call the office at 305-386-8288 for class times.  Register anytime, but please be at least 20 minutes early for your first class so that you have time to register and get your skates fitted correctly. Remember to dress warmly and bring gloves if you have them.
