Results - Winners for the 4 divisions: Mite champions were the South
Florida Golden Wolves, Squirt champions were the Space Coast Hurricanes,
Peewee A champions were the Miami Toros, Peewee AA champions were the Tampa

New Hockey Director
Kendall
Ice Arena welcomes former National Hockey League player Paul Healey as Hockey
Director.
Healey concluded a 15-year professional hockey career in 2009 after playing over
1,000 games in the NHL, AHL, Swedish Elite League, Finnish National League and
more. Healey joined the Saveology.com Iceplex team as a private hockey
instructor in 2007 and was the Assistant Coach for the Florida Everblades (ECHL)
during the 09-10 season and has previously volunteered on a part-time basis with
JR Panthers.
Paul Healey will bring an extremely high level of playing and coaching
experience to the Kendall Ice Arena Hockey Program!
2012 Hockey Program
Welcome to our hockey program. Here you will find an
environment of individuals who share your enjoyment of the great sport of ice
hockey. An environment of recreation, mutual respect, fun, friendship and
energy.
We have programs that can cater to any age or skill level. Whether you are
getting back into the sport after time off, want to pass on the love of the game
to your children, or have never skated before, there is a spot for you here at
Kendall Ice Arena.
Programs are, “on-going” throughout the year, and are more affordable than you
think. We have youth and adult leagues, camps and clinics for beginners through
advanced players. No matter what age you are, our professional and experienced
coaching staff can offer high level training or beginning instruction, either in
our class format or privately one on one.

will have something geared for whatever your needs may be. If you have

HOCKEY PROGRAMS
"Learn To Skate" and Pre-Hockey Classes
If you can't skate, you will start off in our great "Learn to Skate"
Classes. You will learn to skate forward an backwards, stop, turn and much
more! As soon as you have your "Feet under you", you can be evaluated by our
Hockey Director and switched over to our Pre Hockey Classes.
The Pre-Hockey program teaches all the Hockey fundamentals. You must skate
at the beginner level and have hockey gear. Here you will learn the rules of
the game, stick handling, shooting and game play. It won't be long before
you are ready to play in our hockey leagues.

Stick and Puck
Developmental Shooting & Stick-handling Practice Time for all ages/skill
levels. See our special flyers for times.
Adult Pick Up Hockey
Come have some fun and games with your fellow Hockey enthusiasts. Please see
our special flyer for times.
Mini Mite League
Our Mini-Mite program is four youth hockey players 7 years of age and under.
The USA Hockey cross ice program is utilized for this group. This is a great
first introduction to the sport for our youngest participants. Fun games and
skill development is the primary focus of the program. It is the target and
goal of this program to instill a lifelong enjoyment and love for the game.
